Cancellation Policy
1. Reservation Deposit
A reservation deposit is refundable only if written notice of cancellation is received within five (5) calendar days of the date the deposit is paid ("Grace Period").
Upon expiration of the Grace Period, the reservation deposit becomes non-refundable. However, should the Guest be unable to attend the originally scheduled expedition, the non-refundable deposit may be applied as a credit toward a future expedition operated by Taotao Tasi Expeditions, subject to availability and any applicable pricing in effect at the time of rebooking. Deposit credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
2. Cancellations Ninety (90) Days or More Before Departure
If the Guest cancels ninety (90) days or more prior to the scheduled expedition departure date, the reservation deposit shall be forfeited. The forfeited deposit shall remain available as a credit toward a future expedition in accordance with Section 1.
3. Cancellations Between Sixty (60) and Eighty-Nine (89) Days Before Departure
If the Guest cancels between sixty (60) and eighty-nine (89) days prior to the scheduled expedition departure date, the Guest shall forfeit fifty percent (50%) of the total expedition price.
4. Cancellations Less Than Sixty (60) Days Before Departure
If the Guest cancels fewer than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled expedition departure date, the Guest shall forfeit one hundred percent (100%) of the total expedition price.
5. Replacement Guest
For cancellations occurring less than ninety (90) days of the scheduled expedition departure date, the Guest may avoid the cancellation fees described in Sections 3 and 4 by finding and securing a qualified replacement participant to assume the reservation, subject to the prior written approval of Taotao Tasi Expeditions.
If a replacement participant is accepted and completes the reservation, the cancellation fees set forth in Sections 3 and 4 shall be waived. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the original reservation deposit shall remain non-refundable and shall instead be retained as a credit applicable toward a future expedition operated by Taotao Tasi Expeditions, in accordance with Section 1.
